Committee Assignments for the 2015/2016 Legislative Session

One of the primary ways in which legislators influence state policy on Beacon Hill is through their work as members of committees. During the 2013/2014 legislative session I sat on the Joint Committees on Housing, Health Care Financing, and Municipalities and Regional Government. I learned a considerable amount about each respective area of policy during that time. I have received my assignments for the 2015/2016 legislative session, and am pleased to have been selected for a leadership position as the Vice Chairman of the newly formed House Committee on Technology and Intergovernmental Affairs. I will also serve as a member of the Joint Committees on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities, Housing, and Municipalities and Regional Government. I look forward to learning about and making contributions in each of these areas of public policy.
